Stephan Tallent brings over 20 years of managed services, information security and sales leadership experience to High Wire Networks, having spent the last 15 years building managed security service practices within several different types of service provider businesses.
In his previous role as Global Vice President, Managed Security Service Providers at Extended Detection and Response vendor Stellar Cyber, Stephan supported new partner recruitment and sales operations optimization, bringing to market service provider programs designed to improve business and operational outcomes in security service delivery.
Preceding Stellar Cyber, Stephan served as Vice President, Managed Security Service Providers at end point detection and response vendor Cybereason, Stephan led new partner recruitment and onboarding, along with revenue optimization and go-to-market support for service provider partners. Stephan developed and brought to market Global programs designed to simplify buying, improve security efficacy in managed detection and response services and increase service margins.
Prior to Cybereason, Stephan served as Sr. Director of MSSP at global security vendor Fortinet, where he led service enablement, new partner onboarding, revenue optimization and go-to-market support for MSSP partners. Stephan developed and brought to market programs designed to help MSSP partners launch new services and improve operational efficiencies.
Before Fortinet, Stephan supported security service development, technical design and sales operations support at telecommunications provider Masergy and led the development of Logix first hosted services and cyber security practice. He also held sales and marketing leadership roles at ANX and Iomega(acquired by EMC), and was co-founder and chief architect of managed security services at a value-add reseller turned MSSP, leading them to a successful exit.
Leveraging this experience and wielding best in breed security technology, Stephan focuses on consulting to the partner community on developing profitable, best-practice based service offerings that encompass architecture, product development, training, go-to-market strategies and sales operations.
Stephan is a widely published security services expert and frequent speaker at industry conferences. He founded Fortinet’s Veterans program and actively promotes veterans’ transition into the cyber security industry. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
