
Presenting proven conceptual frameworks for building a staffing model to support internal professional development and growth of current staff (building a career path and alignment with measurable standards), and a scalability model through which a pool of trained and known resources can be developed and ready as the staffing demand increases (internship, mentorship, apprentice, specialist). Resulting in the retention of current staff and the availability of additional new staff requiring less of a ramp-up time. A call to action for the implementation of internal staff development and an internship-like program for introducing new and transitioning resources to the organization. Takeaways are the resources necessary, and a few suggestions and lessons learned.
