Things To Drink in Austin, TX!

Oasis Bar & Grill

The Oasis started off as just an idea. Beau Theriot, the owner of The Oasis, has always been a visionary, but never imagined what his idea would blossom into. Thirty-eight years later, The Oasis has become a well-known jewel nestled in the Austin Hill Country. We are best known as The Sunset Capital of Texas because most days, hundreds of guests from all over the world come to see the breathtaking views and (quite possibly) one of the most spectacular sunsets they will ever lay eyes on.

The Firehouse Lounge

Enjoy eclectic live music featuring some of Austin’s best jazz and blues musicians, rock and roll, and DJ's. Perfect for groups or the solo traveler, our lounge is inviting to all. Local Austinite? You’ll be impressed with The Fire House Lounge's knowledge of local breweries, small-batch distilleries, and dedication to local ingredients.

Maggie Mae's

Maggie Mae’s is the epitome of all things Austin. Our 11,000 square feet of event space houses 5 bars, 2 stages, and nearly 1,000 guests. Our Sixth Street location is in the heart of Austin, steps from the Convention Center and many downtown hotels. This is Austin's premier live music and entertainment destination.

The Roosevelt Room

The Roosevelt Room is an award-winning Cocktail Bar and Event Venue located in the heart of downtown Austin's historic Warehouse District. Since opening in June 2015, The Roosevelt Room has been dedicated to treating every guest like family and seeing them leave happier than when they arrived, whether joining for a quick drink or for an entire evening. The Roosevelt Room strives to build a stronger sense of community in this amazing city through delicious food & drink, unwavering hospitality, and sincere personal connection. For those reasons, the motto has been, and will always be, "Cheers to you!"

Midnight Cowboy

Located on the famous 6th Street and formally a brothel masquerading as a massage parlor known as "Midnight Cowboy Modeling Oriental Massage," Midnight Cowboy is one of the oldest speakeasies in Austin, Texas.

Rather than hide the building's dark history, we have chosen to embrace it. Midnight Cowboy offers prohibition-style decor, a secret entrance, old-school cocktails and a haunted history.

The Blind Pig Pub

Blind Pig Pub boasts the largest open deck on 6th, amazing views & 3 rental spaces. With over 20 beers on tap, tons of games, a photo booth and amazing views of Downtown, you can't beat this experience. Plus, everyone wants to party on Sixth Street! The Blind Pig Pub's shot gun style downstairs bar is warm, has 16 beers on tap, plenty of seating and private bathrooms. The largest open deck on 6th has beer on tap, bar games like over sized jenga, local Austin themed murals and 2 stages. The back bar is inside, has private bathrooms, and tons of games such as basketball & has a great photo booth for all to use! The Blind Pig Pub is a local favorite because of our ability to turn an ordinary night into one to remember.
