Abigail (Abby) Thoennes is a Cyber Operations Planner with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). Abby works with government and private sector partners to develop cyber defense plans. Currently, Abby is the lead for the 2023 Remote Monitoring and Management planning effort. Prior to coming to CISA JCDC, she spent 15 years as a civilian in the Department of Navy (DON) within the Intelligence Community working on variety of projects and offices within the DON. She has a BA from the Ohio University and a MA from Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
