Erik Holmes is CEO of Cyber Guard, an MSSP, he founded in 2019 that brings enterprise-grade cyber security solutions to small and mid-sized companies by combining certified experts with industry leading technology at affordable rates. Holmes began his cyber security career with 10 years in the U.S. Navy where he led technical operations into tactical and covert environments for SEAL Team 6. He then founded 2IO, teaching cyber network operations and providing equipment to the Department of Defense. He developed, managed, and scaled the offensive cybersecurity program for BlackHorse Solutions. Then, at Deloitte’s Cyber Risk and Advisory practice, Holmes managed Red Team engagements for Fortune 100 companies, testing clients’ ability to detect, prevent, and respond to emulated nation-state level attacks.
