Ryan Orsi is the global Partner Practice Team Lead for Security Consulting and MSSP at AWS. This team of cybersecurity specialists develops AWS consulting and managed security practices with Partners including System Integrators (SIs), Telcos, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) organizations, and MSPs. Through joint go-to-market initiatives, security offerings and solutions are available for AWS customers to assist them in their cloud journey: advisement, build/migrate, and operate 24/7.
Prior to AWS, Ryan led the Secure Wi-Fi business for WatchGuard, a cybersecurity company with a two-tier channel sales model. He managed the product line P&L and developed global go-to-market strategies with distribution partners, MSSPs/MSPs, VARs, and Telcos. During his time with WatchGuard, he also designed and launched their Technology Partner program identifying integrations and sales motions with brands including: IBM, Connectwise, AlienVault, Splunk, Duo, and ESET.
Prior to WatchGuard, Ryan brought disruptive wireless products to the WLAN, IoT, medical, mobile, and consumer wearable markets. As VP Business Development for Quantal RF, he led teams globally to create and drive direct and channel sales routes to market.
He holds MBA and Electrical Engineering Degrees and is named inventor on 19 patents and applications in areas such as automated antenna design software and compound field antennas.
